It is important for both ladies and men to work out their legs and make it as strong as possible. For the majority, they just work it out as the legs could be a problem particularly for women. One of the best leg exercises that focuses on the calf muscles is called heel raises. This is an exercise that you can do nearly anywhere because it is so easy that it would not attract unwanted attention.

If you need to see fast results, then this is an exercise that would not disappoint you because calf muscles are easily toned and can be reinforced reasonably fast. To do this, you have got to stand with your feet shoulder width apart. You can place your hands on your hips to help balance and then go on walk and hold if for a couple of seconds. Place your feet flat back on the ground slowly. No sweat right? Just do this 40 times per set. Do three sets of heel raises if you need to hurry up the reinforcing process.

Another area of difficulty is sometimes the thigh. Well, to tone and reinforce your inner and outer thigh, simply do the plies. Stand with your feet apart. Take a little step out and then turn your feet in the outward direction. Do this for three sets with thirty reps per set.
